Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is seeking a Systems & Requirements Engineer to define, author, maintain, and govern customer-level feature requirements for vehicle programs. You will bridge product planning, core engineering, systems engineering, HMI, software, hardware, and validation teams to translate insights into clear technical specs.

You will ensure traceability, support safety and regulatory alignment, and collaborate across lifecycle stages from concept to validation.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Lifecycle Management: Own the authoring, baselining, review, approval, and status tracking of engineering requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
• System Decomposition: Translate customer needs and field insights into platform-level functional and non-functional specifications.
• Cross-Functional Interface Alignment: Facilitate multidisciplinary requirement reviews to resolve gaps, interface dependencies, and architectural constraints.
• Bidirectional Traceability: Maintain end-to-end traceability from feature intent to software/hardware/validation plans using ALM tools; evaluate change requests.
• Safety & Regulatory Integration: Partner with validation teams to ensure ISO 26262 compliance, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Systems & Requirements Engineer to define, author, maintain, and govern customer-level feature requirements for current and future vehicle programs. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between product planning, core engineering, systems engineering, HMI, software, hardware, and physical validation teams. You will translate customer expectations, field insights, and competitive benchmarks into clear, testable, and traceable technical specifications across the vehicle lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Lifecycle Management: Own the authoring, baselining, review, approval, and status tracking of engineering requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

• System Decomposition: Translate customer needs, voice-of-customer clinics, and field insights into platform-level functional and non-functional specifications.

• Cross-Functional Interface Alignment: Facilitate multidisciplinary requirement reviews to resolve technical gaps, system conflicts, interface dependencies, and architectural constraints.

• Bidirectional Traceability: Maintain end-to-end traceability from high-level feature intent down to software, hardware, and validation plans using ALM tools. Evaluate change requests for technical, timing, cost, and compliance impacts.

• Safety & Regulatory Integration: Partner with validation teams to establish acceptance criteria and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
