Job summary

EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking a Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer to maintain and update test benches and vehicles, and to use CANoe for simulations. You will diagnose electrical faults, test interconnections, and evaluate measurement data to ensure system reliability.

You will document faults, execute bench and vehicle tests on electrical/electronic systems, and support software updates on ECUs with English proficiency and a willingness to learn in a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronic, Automotive Mechanics, Electrical Engineering or related.
• Over 6 months of internship in the automotive industry (obligatory).
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, and CANoe.
• Knowledge of CANalyzer (preferred).
• Advance English.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches / test vehicles
• Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches
• Testing of vehicle interconnection
• Evaluation of measurement data
• Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems
• Execution of software update tests on control units
• Execution of bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain electric current and voltage readings
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software for vehicles and test benches
• Documentation and management of identified faults
