Job summary

EDAG in Puebla, MX, seeks a Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer to support testing and validation of electrical/electronic systems on vehicles and test benches. The role covers maintenance, commissioning, data evaluation, and software testing of ECUs using CANoe, with focus on fault diagnosis and documentation.

English proficiency is required; German is a plus. You'll work in a collaborative environment, interfacing with hardware and software teams to ensure reliable vehicle electronics and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, and CANoe.
• German language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches / test vehicles.
• Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches.
• Testing of vehicle interconnection.
• Evaluation of measurement data.
• Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems.
• Execution of software update tests on control units.
• Execution of bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain electric current and voltage readings.
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software for vehicles and test benches.
• Documentation and management of identified faults.

DESCRIPTION

• Knowledge of CANalyzer (preferred)
• Advance English
