Job summary

EDAG Mexico is seeking a Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in Puebla. You will maintain and update test benches and vehicles, adapt CANoe simulations, and perform interconnection tests across electrical/electronic systems.

You will evaluate measurement data, execute software update tests, and troubleshoot hardware and software while documenting faults. Advanced English is required; German is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, and CANoe.
• Knowledge of CANalyzer preferred.
• Advanced English.
• German desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches/test vehicles.
• Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches.
• Testing of vehicle interconnection.
• Evaluation of measurement data.
• Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems.
• Execution of software update tests on control units.
• Bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain electric readings.
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software for vehicles and test benches.
• Documentation and management of identified faults.
