Job summary

EDAG Mexico is seeking a Junior Release Testing Specialist to support maintenance, updating, and documentation of test vehicles and test benches. You will instrument vehicles with sensors and install measuring equipment, preparing vehicles and parts for testing and documenting their status.

Responsibilities include using CANoe for simulation, evaluating measurement data, executing tests on benches or vehicles, troubleshooting HW/SW, and producing standardized test reports. English B2 is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test vehicles and test benches
• Maintenance, upgrading and documentation of test vehicles and test benches
• Preparation of vehicles and their parts for testing, documenting and updating their technical status
• Instrumentation of vehicles / parts with sensors
• Installation and programming of measuring equipment
• Adaptation, commissioning and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches
• Evaluation of measurement data
• Execution of tests on the test bench or in the vehicle
• Troubleshooting for HW and SW for vehicles and test benches
• Documentation and administration of technical faults
• Preparation of standardized test reports
