Hola Asia is seeking a Senior Translator/Interpreter to support Mandarin-Chinese communications with Mexican staff and executives. You will translate documents, manage interpretation during meetings, and ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural resonance across three languages.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, native Mandarin with advanced Spanish and English, 1–2 years international experience, and proficiency with MS Office and virtual meeting tools such as

• Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages, Translation, International Relations, International Business, or a related field.
• Native-level Mandarin Chinese with advanced professional fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• 1–2 years of translation and/or interpretation experience in an international or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of Chinese and Mexican business cultures and intercultural communication.

Responsabilidades

• Translate documents, emails, presentations, reports, and official communications between Spanish, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during internal and external meetings, executive visits, client meetings, and audits (in-person and virtual).
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality in all translated and interpreted materials.
• Adapt translations to reflect cultural and business context appropriately for Chinese, Mexican, and international audiences.
• Support multilingual communication between international teams to ensure clarity in daily operations.
• Assist with the preparation and linguistic review of executive reports and presentations in the three languages.
• Provide bilingual or trilingual linguistic support during corporate events or activities when required.

Position Objective

Provide translation support to Chinese executive management, ensuring effective communication between Chinese executives and Mexican staff. Facilitate accurate interpretation during meetings, visits, and key documents, while ensuring smooth cultural and linguistic integration. Ensuring effective communication between multilingual teams and facilitating the coordination of activities.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages, Translation, International Relations, International Business, or a related field.
• Languages: Native-level Mandarin Chinese and advanced professional fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in translation and/or interpretation within an international or corporate environment.
• Preferred Knowledge: Strong understanding of Chinese and Mexican business cultures and intercultural communication.
• Key Skills: Excellent linguistic accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability.
• Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams); familiarity with translation tools is a plus.
