Job summary

Wesco in Mexico is seeking an Analyst - Transportation to provide analytical support for transportation programs including small package, LTL, private fleet and international shipments. You will support regulatory agencies, freight audit and payment, and supply chain analytics while delivering clear management reports.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop mode-specific insights, and participate in LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Associates’ Degree preferred.
• Canada licenses preferred (CITT/CCLP, CIFFA/PPF, CCS).
• 2 years in transportation, customs, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated.
• Knowledge of Tariff Classification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and administer national programs for multiple modes.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Analyze and improve mode-specific service and expense metrics.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting.
• Provide analysis on transportation or supply chain initiatives.
• Participate in LEAN initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at branches and distribution centers.
• Ensure compliance with dangerous goods and safety training.
• May assist with self-clearance customs processes and agency submissions.
• Assist with free trade agreement solicitations and certificates of origin.
• Support implementation of new customs initiatives or projects.
