Formación

• Knowledge of International Commerce and USA/MX customs regulations.
• English proficiency at 80%.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate transportation activities for goods to ensure timely shipment.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is correct and complete.
• Monitor daily shipments from origin to destination.
• Collaborate with Customs agencies, Freight forwarders, and other parties.

Purpose

Oversee transportation and customs processes to guarantee that products/goods reach their destination efficiently and in compliance with all national and international regulations and standards as applicable.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates transportation activities for goods, ensuring that shipments are made in a timely manner and that products reach destinations safely and efficiently, optimizing delivery times to meet established dates.
• Ensures documentation is correct and complete: Includes issuance and review of shipping documents, such as BOLs, packings, commercial invoices and certs, required for goods transportation as applicable.
• Monitors daily shipments from origin to destination: Implements controls and tasks that allow shipment progress verification, making sure to take action on any situation that may arise during shipment preparation or while in transit to destination.
• Works closely with all involved areas to assure information and resources are available to perform daily shipments, both export and import. This includes external areas such as Customs agencies, Freight forwarders, dispatchers, drivers, and external warehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, international commerce or related field.
• Knowledge of International Commerce and USA/MX customs regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Maquiladora environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• English 80% (proficiency).
