Footprint MX, S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a professional to oversee transportation and customs processes in Mexicali, Baja California. The role requires ensuring efficient product delivery while meeting compliance with national and international regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation activities, assuring documentation integrity, and monitoring shipment progress. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, have at least 2 years of experience in a Maquiladora environment, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Maquiladora environment.
• Knowledge of International Commerce and USA/MX customs regulations.
• English proficiency at 80%.

Responsabilidades

Purpose

Oversee transportation and customs processes to guarantee that products/goods reach their destination efficiently and in compliance with all national and international regulations and standards as applicable.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates transportation activities for goods, ensuring that shipments are made in a timely manner and that products reach destination safely and efficiently, optimizing delivery times to meet established dates.
• Assures documentation is correct and complete: Includes issuance and review of shipping documents, such as BOLs, packings, commercial invoices and certificates, required for goods transportation, as applicable.
• Monitoring of daily shipments from origin to destination: Implement controls and tasks that allow shipment progress verification, making sure to take action on any situation that may arise during shipment preparation or when in transit to destination.
• Work closely with all involved areas to assure information and resources are available to perform daily shipments, both export and import. This includes external areas such as Customs agencies, Freight forwarders, dispatchers, drivers, and external warehouses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of International Commerce and USA/MX customs regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Maquiladora environment.
