Landis+Gyr AG in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage daily customs compliance for the IMMEX operation, maintain master data in Anexo 24, and coordinate with the external customs broker.

The role includes compiling electronic files, ensuring timely documentation, classifying tariffs, and supporting traffic operations during peak workloads. A Bachelor’s in foreign trade or related field and 2–4 years IMMEX experience are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Master Data Management (Anexo 24): Input, upload, and register part numbers, BOMs, and cost structures; coordinate with Engineering and Purchasing.
• Legal File Integration: Compile and organize electronic foreign trade file with proper documentation per Mexican Customs Law.
• Control and Inventory Discharges: Execute manufacturing discharges and reconcile pedimentos for temporary imports.
• Tariff Classification: Assign and validate tariff codes (LIGIE) and NICOs for raw materials and components.
• Occasional Operational Support: Assist traffic area with cross-border documentation and shipment tracking during peaks.

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for the daily execution and control of customs compliance processes for the IMMEX operation. The primary focus is to maintain the integrity of master data within the Anexo 24 system and ensure the proper assembly of the corporate legal archive in coordination with the external customs broker. Additionally, the analyst will provide flexible support to daily traffic operations on specific occasions, as required by workload or team needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Management (Anexo 24): Input, upload, and register part numbers, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and cost structures into the compliance system, complementing data from SAP; ensure information is kept up to date by following up with Engineering and Purchasing departments.
• Legal File Integration: Compile, review, and organize the electronic foreign trade file, ensuring the Customs Broker delivers all supporting documentation in a timely and proper manner, strictly complying with Articles 6, 36, and 36-A of the Mexican Customs Law (XMLs, e-documents, COVEs, value declarations, etc.).
• Control and Inventory Discharges: Execute manufacturing inventory discharges and reconcile pedimentos (customs entries) for the control of temporary import inventories (Anexo 24 / Anexo 30).
• Tariff Classification: Assign and validate tariff codes (LIGIE) and NICOs for raw materials and standard components, aligning them with the customs broker's criteria.
• Occasional Operational Support: Provide support to the traffic area in reviewing cross-border documentation or tracking shipments with the customs broker during peak operational workloads.

Profile and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or related field.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years in an IMMEX environment, with hands-on experience managing BOMs in Anexo 24 and auditing broker-generated pedimentos.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, process-oriented mindset, and proficiency in database management.
