Leviton in Jimenez, Chihuahua seeks a hands-on Tool Room Supervisor to lead daily tooling operations, coordinate with production and other departments, and drive safety and continuous improvement. The role requires strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling equipment, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree in Electromechanics, Electric or Mechanics, with at least one year in manufacturing tooling and conversational English.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, tooling, machining or related environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Conversational English required.

About The Role

We are seeking a Tool Room Supervisor for one of our locations in Jimenez, Chihuahua to lead and coordinate daily Tool Room operations, ensuring the timely completion of tooling projects and support activities required by production and other departments. This role is responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling assigned projects while driving operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of machining processes, tooling equipment, blueprint reading, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Tool Room operations to ensure all work is completed on schedule and supports production requirements.
• Coordinate activities and communicate effectively with multiple departments to meet business objectives.
• Execute projects and assignments directed by the Tool Room Manager.
• Monitor department performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support and enforce 5S+1 practices and workplace organization standards.
• Participate in and promote Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
• Ensure quality standards and operational deadlines are consistently met.

Education & Experience

• Engineering in Electromechanics, Electric or Mechanics
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, tooling, machining, or related environment in similar position.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• conversational English required.
