G&W Electric Co. seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to guide the second-shift team, ensuring adherence to the production plan, quality standards, and safety rules.

You will allocate tasks, manage resources, and verify processes for disconnectors and related equipment, while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. English proficiency and ERP familiarity are required.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in a similar production/industrial supervision role.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Experience using an ERP system (Oracle is a plus).
• Experience applying quality tools (e.g., SPC, 5S, root cause analysis).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, coordinate, and control production personnel to meet schedules, ensure product quality, optimize resources, and uphold safety standards.
• Lead second shift (M-F, 15:30-23:50) and supervise daily/weekly production plans.
• Distribute tasks to operators based on workloads and equipment capabilities.
• Ensure correct allocation of materials, tools, and machinery.
• Verify manufacturing processes for relevant equipment align with drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor cycle times and ensure targets are met without sacrificing quality.
• Track KPIs such as efficiency, productivity and waste; take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide feedback and technical support to the production team; foster teamwork and continuous improvement.

Position Summary

• Supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the production personnel to ensure compliance with the company's manufacturing schedules, guaranteeing product quality, efficient use of resources, and adherence to industrial safety standards.
• Second shift (M-F, 15:30- 23:50)

Primary Responsabilites

• Supervise compliance with the daily/weekly production plan.
• Distribute tasks to operational personnel based on workloads and equipment capabilities.
• Ensure the correct allocation of resources (materials, tools, and machinery).
• Verify that the manufacturing processes for restorers (or "retrievers/reconditioners," depending on context) and sectioning equipment are carried out according to drawings, technical procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure that cycle times are met without compromising quality.
• Track Key Production Indicators (KPIs): efficiency, productivity, waste, etc.
• Supervise the technical and operational personnel assigned to the production line or area.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback and technical support to the work team.
• Verify that the product meets technical specifications before moving to the next stage or the quality area.

Requisition

Education: Electrical, electronic or mechatronics engineer.

• Experience: 4+ years in a similar position desirable.
• Conversational English
• Use of ERP (Oracle is a plus)
• Application of quality tools.

• Assembly practice for disconnectors and reclosers.
• Use of various types of tools.
