Job summary
The Adecco Group in Mexico is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage data center infrastructure with emphasis on Cisco Nexus and Arista CVP. The role requires 5–7 years of experience, CCIE DC or equivalent, and VMware certification expertise.
This is a 100% remote, long-term project engagement with competitive monthly compensation. You will resolve incidents, mentor Tier 2 engineers, and drive capacity planning and change management across the network estate.
Qualifications
- Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related engineering.
- 5–7 years in data center infrastructure, with Cisco Nexus experience.
- 3–5 years in OS server administration across Windows/Unix/Linux.
- CCIE DC or equivalent skill set; VMware VCP certification preferred.
- Experience with Arista and Cisco networking, BGP, routing and switching.
Responsibilities
- Resolve service-impacting events and incidents promptly.
- Escalate issues to Operations Management as needed.
- Mentor Tier 2 Network Engineers and act as SME.
- Monitor IT infrastructure performance and diagnose problems.
- Coordinate network changes with customers and Change Management.
