Reboot Monkey in Puebla, Mexico is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. This full-time role supports critical infrastructure at world-class facilities, performing server and network maintenance and ensuring reliable power and cooling.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling and documentation skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work from on-call shifts.

Formación

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Experience with power distribution and UPS systems.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling copper and fiber.
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot.
• Maintain asset tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
• Support on-call rotation and shift schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

$270,000-390,000/year (MXN annual)

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
