Boyd Corporation in Juárez is seeking a CDU engineer to drive design-to-production coordination for cooling/thermal systems. You will review design packages, prepare BOMs and docs, and manage supplier qualifications and NPIs.

The role requires at least 5 years in cooling/thermal environments, proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and strong English and communication skills to interface with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Thermal, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with cooling/thermal systems.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools like AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive and understand design packages and ensure CBOM/complete drawings for sourcing and production.
• Estimate unit costs based on design lock down (materials, direct labor, overhead).
• Coordinate DFM with process and design engineers.
• Specify materials to suppliers and sign off on specs.
• Coordinate supplier qualifications with design engineers and quality.
• Oversee sample builds and NPI schedule for product qualification.
• Prepare production documentation (BOM, Routing, PFMEA, PCP, WI, inspection instructions).
• Materials planning (CTB).
• Execute production plan and ensure deliveries with quality.
• Interface with customers on product-related and technical activities.
