Unison in Mexico is seeking a Project Engineer for Heat Exchangers and Thermal Management to lead the technical execution from concept to production readiness. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, analysis, testing, sourcing, and manufacturing while ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets.

This role requires strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and experience with product development processes; bilingual English and Spanish are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience in thermal systems, heat exchangers, cooling systems, or related products.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with product development processes from design, analysis, validation and production.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; self-driven.
• Bilingual written and oral communication in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering projects for micro tube heat exchangers, compact heat exchangers, and related thermal management systems.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, cost, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate design, analysis, test, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to meet program objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, technical reviews, and action-item trackers.
• Translate customer and system requirements into engineering tasks and hardware deliverables.
• Support product design activities including thermal and mechanical design, materials, manufacturability, reliability, and durability considerations.
• Oversee performance validation through analysis, prototypes, lab tests, and design verification.
• Drive issue resolution using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Support supplier and manufacturing readiness for prototype and production builds.
• Prepare and present technical updates to leadership and customers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and documentation practices.
• Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement in design, project execution, quality, and cost.
