General Motors de México is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, validate, and integrate components within the Thermal Coolant Management subsystem for automotive propulsion systems. You will ensure robust, cost-effective, manufacturable solutions using advanced engineering methods and virtual validation tools, delivering high-quality mathematical releases on time.

You will lead design activities, execute engineering standards, apply DFMEA, and collaborate with Design Release Engineers,

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in automotive/mechanical component design.
  • Experience using NX, Teamcenter and SimSolid.
  • 3D CAD modeling and product data management.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead design and development of components within the Thermal Coolant Management subsystem.
  • Maintain design standards and global design processes.
  • Design automotive components using DFMEA methodologies.
  • Develop solutions following Design to Cost while maintaining performance.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability criteria for efficient production.
  • Perform NX design analysis and implement findings with support from senior staff.
  • Create and maintain mathematical data (3D models, materials, mass properties).
  • Collaborate with DREs, manufacturing, integration, and performance engineers to support design activities.
