A leading technology firm in Mexico is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, evaluate, and implement new mechanical and electrical testing processes. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in electronic companies, supervising test technicians, and ensuring the maintenance of test equipment. Responsibilities include enhancing quality and performance while interpreting electronic specifications and diagrams. Proficiency in intermediate-advanced English is required for this position.

Overview

Test Engineer

Objective: Develop, evaluate, and implement new mechanical and electrical testing processes and procedures to improve product quality, cost, performance, and reliability, ensuring compliance with company specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of the Test Technicians.
• Supervise the maintenance of the test equipment.
• Perform and/or supervise the activities and strategies to avoid dead time in the test equipment and keep them within the target, as well as their continuous improvement.
• Perform and/or supervise the activities to maintain the yield and seek its continuous improvement in the test equipment.

Requirements

• Experience of more than 3 years in electronic companies
• Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
• Interpretation of plans, electronic diagrams and specifications
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• Knowledge of Engineering runs and introduction of NPI
• Intermediate-advanced English
