Advanced Energy Management Limited is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join the product verification team in Mexicali, Mexico. You will own testability, help design feedback, and ensure products meet functional requirements through test plans, fixtures, and verification activities.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, estimate project costs for test solutions, and be prepared to travel for trainings and international locations as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in design/development or manufacturing support.
• Proficiency in NI LabVIEW test application development.
• Willing to travel for trainings and to international locations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure testability of new product designs, providing feedback to design teams addressing opportunities for defects in manufacturing and field use.
• Accurately estimate project costs as associated with implementing test solutions.
• Own the test requirements from the vendor to shipment to the customer.
• Verify products meet their functional requirements - including design verification and manufacturing screens. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
• Analyze capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Test Engineers regularly work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. Travel to international manufacturing and/or development locations may be required.

SKILLS

• Must have strong problem-solving attributes.
• Able to operate a variety of electrical test instrumentation.
• Capable in hardware and software development.
• Strong at communicating with and influencing design teams, vendors, and customers.

EXPERIENCE

• Greater than 3years of relevant design/development team and/or manufacturing support. Proven ability to methodically solve complex, technical issues. Demonstrated proficency in NI LabView test application development.

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
