Vertiv in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking an engineer to support UPS testing activities and customer inspections. You will perform FWT/FAT tests per QAP requirements, respond to customer questions, and help maintain test bays and calibration of test equipment.

You will coordinate with Production and QA teams, analyze failure data, and provide product training to new engineers as needed. Vertiv values safety, integrity and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Formación

• Experience performing FWT/FAT tests per approved QAP.
• Ability to answer customer queries regarding UPS testing.
• Knowledge of UPS products and configurations.

• Monitor and analyse UPS failure data during testing and coordinate actions with Production/IPQA/IQA.
• Maintain test bay and load bank equipment.
• Ensure regular calibration of test equipment.
• Assist DVT/Engineering teams for new product/component testing.
• Provide product/technical training to newly joined engineers.

Job Description

Brief Description:

• UPS testing activity.
• Should be able to handle customers Inspection

Responsibilities

• Conduct FWT ( Factory witness Test )/FAT( Factory acceptance Test) as per approved QAP/customer requirements.
• Answer customer queries, if any. (Knowledge of all Power products is required)
• Monitor & analyses UPS failure data during testing. Initiate action on the same in coordination with Production/IPQA/IQA.
• Responsible for maintenance activity of test bay & load bank.
• Maintain test equipment’s, need to do calibration on regular basis.
• Help DVT/Engineering/application team for new product/component testing.
• Provide product /technical training (as & when required) to newly joined engineer (Services or any other department)
