Vertiv is seeking a dedicated UPS testing engineer in Reynosa, Mexico, to conduct FWT/FAT per customer requirements, answer inquiries, and apply knowledge of all Power products. You will maintain test bays and load banks, calibrate equipment regularly, analyse UPS failure data during tests, assist DVT/Engineering teams on new products, and train new engineers.

• Maintain test bay and load bank.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment regularly.
• Assist DVT/Engineering/Application teams with new product/testing.
• Provide product/technical training to newly joined engineers.

Brief Description:

• UPS testing activity. • Should be able to handle customers Inspection

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct FWT ( Factory witness Test )/FAT( Factory acceptance Test) as per approved QAP/customer requirements. Answer customer queries, if any. (Knowledge of all Power products is required)


2. Monitor & analyses UPS failure data during testing. Initiate action on the same in coordination with Production/IPQA/IQA.


3. Responsible for maintenance activity of test bay & load bank.


4. Maintain test equipment’s, need to do calibration on regular basis.


5. Help DVT/Engineering/application team for new product/component testing.


6. Provide product /technical training (as & when required) to newly joined engineer (Services or any other department)
