Vertiv Mexicali site seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to define processes, balance lines, and design cells with tooling and fixtures. The role includes documentation, training, and FPY, plus tracking KPIs and driving cost reductions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, a bachelor’s in engineering, and strong English/Spanish communication. This on-site role emphasizes Lean, safety, and continuous improvement within a global team.

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes.
• Engineering degree and clear communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish for site collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Process Definition and Manufacturing Readiness including layout and line design.
• Track KPIs such as Scrap, Change Over, and Standard Hours.
• Lead cost reduction projects and Lean initiatives.
• Implement Safety & Ergonomics programs with the team.
• Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Definition and Manufacturing Readiness with the following deliverables: Layout, Line Balance, Cell/Line Design, Material Presentation, Tooling and Fixturing, Process Documentation, Training and FPY
• Business Unit and Functional KPI’s tracking and performance: Scrap, Operation Supplies, Change Over, Standard Hrs
• Cost Reduction Projects
• Lean / Operational System Implementation within Business Unit: Standard Work, SMED, Poke-Yoke
• Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Corrective Actions Implementation
• Safety & Ergonomics: Responsible to lead (in conjunction with functional team) Job Safety Analysis evaluation to detect, correct or mitigate safety risks and exposures

QUALIFICATIONS

• +3years experienced in manufacturingprocess.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Bilingual. 90% (English, spanish)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret customer quality requirements.
• Computer skills in MS tools
• Should be creative and should posses ability to use modern technology in Electronic manufacturing process
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet the expected goals within time using advance technologies in electronic manufacturing area
