Flex seeks a Test Engineer based in Guadalajara North to support product testing and process development. You will lead test activities, coordinate electronic engineering tasks, calibrate instruments, and document results to drive product quality.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, you will work with engineering teams and suppliers to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated leadership and guidance abilities.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting ViTrox X-Ray inspection equipment and Kohyoung AOI systems.
• Experience interacting with customers and suppliers on technical discussions.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer who will be based in Guadalajara North.

Reporting to Operations Engineering Manager, this role will be in charge of Test engineering capabilities focused on product improvement, new process creation and design experiment as well as coordinating electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
• Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
• May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
• Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Advance English (written and oral)
• Leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting X-Ray inspection equipment (ViTrox) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, Kohyoung.
• Experience interacting with customers and suppliers, including technical discussions, issue resolution, and follow‑up activities.
