Job summary

Flex Ltd in Guadalajara North, Mexico, is seeking a Test Engineer to strengthen our electronic test capabilities, focusing on product improvement, new process creation, and design experiments. You will coordinate testing activities and ensure precision in data collection and calibration.

You will guide floor staff, resolve test issues with production teams, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• Experience operating X-Ray inspection equipment (ViTrox) and AOI systems (Kohyoung) preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and testing equipment fabrication and design.
• Directs and coordinates development, procurement, installation and calibration of test instruments and control devices.
• Interacts with scientific and technical personnel to resolve testing problems and data issues.
• Analyzes test data and prepares technical reports for engineering and management.
• Develops or uses software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products or software.
• Trains floor staff on test hardware and software and problem-solving techniques.
• Resolves yield problems by root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Performs equipment verification and integration in production.
• Creates and maintains process documentation.
• Keeps abreast of new test technologies and procedures.
