Job summary
Aptiv is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design and implement manufacturing test solutions for new products, from early development through production release. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to turn product requirements into robust test processes and tooling.
Ideal candidates will have experience in test development for electrical/electronic/electromechanical products, plus NI LabVIEW and TestStand skills, and strong problem-solving ability in a
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing test development and functional testing.
- Experience with test equipment development and integration.
- Knowledge of P-FMEA, DfM, and process validation is a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests to validate electrical and optical product requirements.
- Lead design discussions with suppliers and track test equipment and tooling.
- Develop work instructions and ensure documentation compliance; train plant test teams.
