Aptiv is seeking a Test Development Engineer to create and implement manufacturing test solutions for new products, from development to production release. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to design tests, software, hardware, and tooling that ensure robust, scalable processes.

The role emphasizes defect prevention, process capability, and knowledge transfer to plant test teams, with a focus on integrating test equipment and documenting procedures for seamless

Formación

• Experience in manufacturing test development and functional testing.
• Experience developing or implementing test solutions for electrical/electromechanical products.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests to validate electrical/optical product requirements.
• Support the development of test software, hardware, equipment, and tooling.
• Define test requirements and support DfM activities.
• Support traceability, FMEA, Error Proofing, and line-side reviews before series production.
• Lead equipment design discussions with suppliers and manage SOWs and budgets.
• Coordinate equipment installation, debugging, validation, and release with process capability studies.
