Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Training Manager to lead training strategy and execution in a technical manufacturing setting. You will design and manage learning programs for New Hire Orientation, skills-based training, trainer development, and ongoing employee readiness to transition into full-time roles and grow proficiency.

• Experience building LMS-based training programs and track outcomes.
• Experience coaching trainers and developing instructor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage LMS for new hires and on-the-job training.
• Oversee New Hire Orientation and transition to full-time roles.
• Set strategic vision for campus-wide training and development.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of trainers and learning professionals.
• Hire and train technical instructors; implement train-the-trainer programs.
• Create knowledge models, assessments, and skill matrices.
• Own reporting of training metrics to stakeholders.
• Audit training effectiveness with operations, quality, and safety leaders.
