Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for a manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to support new hire orientation, training records, skills matrices, employee transfers, and ongoing process improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for a manufacturing environment.
• Conduct classroom and on‑the‑job training for production employees.
• Maintain training systems documentation, records, skills matrices, and plans.
• Create training materials with engineering for operator instructions and manuals.
• Support new hire orientation on safety, quality, and production processes.
• Coordinate employee transfers between jobs, departments, and shifts.
• Measure training effectiveness through audits and improve programs.
