Job summary

Lapieza is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead in Mexico City to oversee technical build, data mapping, and end-to-end testing lifecycles for major IT programs. You will bridge strategy and execution, guiding developers, architects, and analysts, and drive cutovers and hypercare with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

The role features cross-functional collaboration across regions, strong documentation governance, and leadership in testing, UAT, and release management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience with 1-2 years in a tech lead role on large enterprise deployments.
• Strong knowledge of system integration and data mapping (APIs, ETL, middleware).
• Experience in QA management, SIT, and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical build activities across the program lifecycle and ensure alignment with standards.
• Lead design reviews, data flows, and interface mapping across systems.
• Partner with QA teams to design and validate SIT and E2E tests.
• Act as the main UAT technical contact and triage defects.
• Design and execute the comprehensive cutover plan and hypercare.
• Collaborate with product, development, and regional stakeholders to optimize processes.
