LexisNexis is seeking a Software Engineering Lead in Mexico City to guide a team of developers in building impactful software solutions. The role combines hands‑on coding, mentoring, and driving technical direction within an Agile environment.

You will help shape architectural choices, support team growth, and ensure high‑quality delivery while partnering with stakeholders across a global organization.

Qualificações

• Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in object‑oriented programming (.NET/C# and JavaScript).
• Experience with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Skilled in test‑driven development and complex data models.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage technical resources.
• Strong planning, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communicator across diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize requirements.
• Write and review technical specifications and code for moderately complex systems.
• Resolve advanced bugs and technical challenges.
• Translate product requirements into effective software designs.
• Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing.
• Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Design and manage complex data models.
• Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation.
• Encourage accountability, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration.
