Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Startups and Scale-ups. You will build foundational teams across engineering and operations for portfolio companies, partnering with founders and leadership to define hiring needs in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The role requires a proactive approach, a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, and hands-on experience recruiting for technical and non-technical roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within a startup, scale-up, or tech-focused agency.
• Proven ability to recruit for diverse roles, including engineering, product, marketing, and operations.
• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and the challenges of early-stage hiring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using ATS and other recruitment technologies; experience in a remote setting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of roles, with a focus on technical and early-stage positions.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates in competitive markets.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer.
• Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche job boards.
• Provide market intelligence and insights on compensation, talent availability, and hiring trends.
