AutoZone is seeking a technically skilled professional to design, develop, maintain, and support hardware, software, and network sub-systems. You will participate in the full development lifecycle, debug and document software, and roll out solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates and applying domain knowledge to deliver reliable systems. The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience, a CS-related degree, and proficiency across UNIX/Linux/Windows, Java/C/C++, and multiple databases.

Formación

• The role requires a BA/BS or equivalent in a computer science related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software development or IT infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency with UNIX/Linux/Windows environments and key languages like Java, C, C++.
• Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix, DB2) and BI/ETL tools.
• Strong problem solving, technical and analytical abilities; SME in a functional area.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in all roles of the sub-systems development life cycle.
• Develop and/or maintain software applications; debug, code, test, and document.
• Roll out software; provide production support and gather requirements.
• Stay current with tools, architecture, and AutoZone methodologies.
• Mentor and teach less experienced AutoZoners.
