AutoZone de México seeks an experienced software sub-systems engineer to develop, maintain and support our hardware, software and network subsystems. You will apply domain knowledge, mentor teammates and help ensure system integrity and uptime across AutoZone platforms.

Requirements: a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; 3–5 years of software development; proficiency with UNIX/Linux/Windows; programming in Java, C or C++; experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix or DB2;

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, or Windows.
• Proficiency in Java, C, and C++.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix, or DB2.
• Familiar with BI/ETL tools such as Talend or WebFOCUS.
• Strong problem solving and domain expertise.
• Good communication and English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the sub-systems development life cycle.
• Develop and/or maintain software applications; debug, code, test, document, roll out software.
• Update knowledge with state-of-the-art development tools; learn AutoZone culture.
• Plan work accurately and track projects and time.
• Mentor and teach less experienced AutoZoners.
