Job summary

Aristocrat in Mexico City is seeking a Supply Planner to coordinate supply with business needs and maintain inventory targets. You will partner with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure material availability and minimize disruptions.

The role requires 5+ years in supply planning or related field, a Bachelor's degree, advanced Excel skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will own supplier relationships and help drive production continuity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply planning or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply plans aligning with demand, inventory targets, and business goals.
• Monitor supply and inventory performance to ensure material availability and minimize disruptions.
• Ensure material availability with assigned suppliers through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Own designated suppliers and material categories as SME.
• Monitor supplier capacity and raise risks affecting production or delivery.
• Track performance on material availability, supplier adherence, and continuity.
• Manage shortages, recovery plans, and blocking issues to protect production.
• Foster strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity and quick issue resolution.
• Share forecasts, demand changes, and inventory needs with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate across Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and put into action supply plans that support customer demand, inventory targets, and business objectives.
• Monitor supply and inventory performance to ensure material availability while minimizing excess inventory, shortages, and supply disruptions.
• Take responsibility for material availability concerning assigned suppliers and commodities by engaging in proactive planning, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving issues.
• Act as the main owner and subject matter expert (SME) for designated suppliers and material categories.
• Monitor supplier capacity constraints and raise risks that may impact production requirements, supply continuity, or customer commitments.
• Own performance regarding material availability, supplier dedication adherence, delivery performance, and supply continuity objectives for assigned suppliers and commodities.
• Proactively manage material shortages, recovery plans, and blocking issue activities to minimize business impact and support production continuity.
• Build and sustain effective working connections with suppliers to ensure supply continuity, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
• Communicate forecasts, demand changes, inventory requirements, and supply risks with suppliers and internal collaborators.
• Work jointly with Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance groups to support operational and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

• More than 5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Procurement, or a related supply chain role.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related area is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, reporting, and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of reporting dashboards and business intelligence tools used to support planning and reporting activities.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; D365 experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both internal collaborators and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and dependability.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and influence outcomes through collaboration.
