Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply plans that support customer demand, inventory targets, and business goals.
• Monitor supply and inventory to ensure material availability while minimizing excess and shortages.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure material availability and resolve issues.
• Act as SME for designated suppliers and material categories.
• Monitor supplier capacity and raise risks impacting production or delivery.
• Own performance metrics for material availability and supplier adherence.
• Manage shortages and recovery plans to minimize business impact.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity and on-time delivery.
• Communicate forecasts, demand changes, inventory needs, and risks to suppliers and teams.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and put into action supply plans that support customer demand, inventory targets, and business objectives.
• Monitor supply and inventory performance to ensure material availability while minimizing excess inventory, shortages, and supply disruptions.
• Take responsibility for material availability concerning assigned suppliers and commodities by engaging in proactive planning, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving issues.
• Act as the main owner and subject matter expert (SME) for designated suppliers and material categories.
• Monitor supplier capacity constraints and raise risks that may impact production requirements, supply continuity, or customer commitments.
• Own performance regarding material availability, supplier dedication adherence, delivery performance, and supply continuity objectives for assigned suppliers and commodities.
• Proactively manage material shortages, recovery plans, and blocking issue activities to minimize business impact and support production continuity.
• Build and sustain effective working connections with suppliers to ensure supply continuity, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
• Communicate forecasts, demand changes, inventory requirements, and supply risks with suppliers and internal collaborators.
• Work jointly with Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance groups to support operational and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

• More than 5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Procurement, or a related supply chain role.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related area is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, reporting, and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of reporting dashboards and business intelligence tools used to support planning and reporting activities.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; D365 experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both internal collaborators and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and dependability.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and influence outcomes through collaboration.
