Victaulic is seeking an Indirect Materials Planner in Chihuahua to coordinate replenishment of consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials for Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses, ensuring inventory supports plant operations. You’ll work with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Warehouse to manage requisitions and maintain availability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in inventory planning and control.
• Experience calculating inventory levels and inventory turnover.
• Knowledge of FIFO, First In, First Out, inventory practices.
• Experience performing or coordinating cycle counts.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Experience creating and managing purchase requisitions.

We’re looking for an Indirect Materials Planner to join our MaterialsTeam in Chihuahua. In this role, you’ll coordinate the replenishment of consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials for the Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses, helping maintain the inventory levels required to support plant operations.

You’ll work closely with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, Warehouse, and other applicable teams to manage purchase requisitions, monitor inventory availability, and support timely material replenishment. This is an opportunity to strengthen inventory planning processes and contribute to the efficient use and availability of indirect materials.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

Buscamos un Planeador de Materiales Indirectos para formar parte de nuestro equipo de Materiales en Chihhuahua. En esta posición coordinarás el reabastecimiento de consumibles, refacciones y materiales indirectos para los almacenes de Tool Crib y Mantenimiento, ayudando a mantener los niveles de inventario necesarios para respaldar las operaciones de la planta. Trabajarás en colaboración con Compras, Mantenimiento, Producción, Almacén y otros equipos aplicables para administrar requisiciones de compra, supervisar la disponibilidad del inventario y apoyar el reabastecimiento oportuno de materiales. Esta es una oportunidad para fortalecer los procesos de planeación de inventarios y contribuir al uso eficiente y la disponibilidad de materiales indirectos.

LO QUE CONSTRUIRÁS Y GESTIONARÁS

• Analizar los niveles de inventario para identificar necesidades de reabastecimiento y generar requisiciones de compra de consumibles, refacciones y materiales indirectos.
• Capturar, mantener y actualizar los registros de las requisiciones de compra para asegurar información precisa y oportuna.
• Organizar y separar las necesidades de consumibles por área de producción para apoyar una planeación efectiva de materiales.
• Dar seguimiento a las requisiciones de compra pendientes de aprobación para favorecer su procesamiento oportuno y la disponibilidad de materiales.
• Supervisar las requisiciones aprobadas que se encuentren pendientes de la creación de una orden de compra y coordinar su seguimiento.
• Coordinar y administrar las actividades de conteos cíclicos para contribuir a la precisión del inventario.
• Apoyar las actividades de planeación y control de inventarios de los almacenes de Tool Crib y Mantenimiento.

LO QUE APORTAS

• Licenciatura o ingeniería en Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería en Mantenimiento o una carrera relacionada.
• Al menos un año de experiencia en una posición similar.
• Dominio intermedio de Microsoft Excel.
• Experiencia en planeación y control de inventarios.
• Experiencia en el cálculo de niveles y rotación de inventario.
• Conocimiento de las prácticas de inventario FIFO, primeras entradas, primeras salidas.
• Experiencia realizando o coordinando conteos cíclicos.
• Experiencia utilizando sistemas ERP o MRP.
• Experiencia creando y administrando requisiciones de compra.
