KONE México in Torreón, Coahuila, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to assure supplier quality across the product life cycle. You will support supplier selection, qualification, development and performance management, working with Sourcing and cross-functional teams to embed quality, technical and business requirements into supplier processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with suppliers in quality assurance, supplier development, manufacturing, or sourcing.
• Familiar with supplier qualification, auditing, quality control plans, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Ability to assess supplier capabilities and identify risks through gap analyses, audits, and process evaluations.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, corrective action processes, QMS, and supplier performance metrics.
• Comfortable participating in supplier negotiations and ensuring supplier quality commitments are defined and maintained.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.

You will be responsible for monitoring supplier quality metrics, managing supplier qualification documentation, validating performance measurements, and ensuring compliance with KONE's quality, safety, environmental, and sourcing requirements.In this role, you will lead supplier audits, identify corrective and development actions, assess supplier process risks through FMEA methodologies, and establish appropriate supplier Quality Control Plans.
