Lear Corporation in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive process goals and quality strategies across NA Lear plants, reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager.

You will investigate quality issues on the production line with cross‑functional teams, prepare Quality Notifications, issue Lear Alerts, and generate metrics for management summaries. Knowledge of PPAP, launches and IATF 16949 internal auditing is required.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Automotive sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate quality issues with components on the production line, collaborating with Quality, Industrial, and Product Engineering departments to ensure an accurate description of the problem.
• Gather information for Quality Notifications—with the support of administrative staff or inspectors—including supplier site identification, points of use, traceability data or patterns, and part history (for recurring issues).
• Draft and issue Lear Alerts correctly; contact the supplier to provide notification and establish containment requirements.
• Generate metrics and performance reports for plant management quality summaries.
• PPAP, Launches and Automotive standards Knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience on audit processes: IATF 16949 - Internal auditor.
• Analytical mind and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Job Description

As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible to achieve process goals and objectives by properly manage of procedures, systems and quality strategies, assuring to be aligned to “Get Results the Right Way”, impacting in a positive way to NA Lear plants operations metrics, reporting directly to a Supplier Quality Manager.
