Facil North America, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Plannerto join our Planning Department.This position has been created to support the Material Planning and Follow-up team.We are based in Toluca, State of Mexico.

Position Summary:

The Supplier Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. This role involves placing and scheduling orders, expediting materials, and proactively addressing issues to maintain smooth operations in the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned suppliers, including leading recurring meetings as necessary.
• Place and schedule orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor and manage the chase list by reviewing open orders and taking appropriate action.
• Expedite materials as needed and take appropriate action in case of shortage: gap buys and alternate requests. Log all activities for tracking purposes.

Order and Inventory Management:

• Proactively check Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs)/create missing ASN’s (NA if applicable) and address any errors to prevent warehouse issues upon receiving.
• Review supplier call-offs after MRP (Material Resource Planning) to address overordering or underordering.
• Follow up on supplier backlog to ensure timely resolution and maintain supply continuity.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with customer planners to obtain and relay information from the supplier side.
• Act as the point of contact for internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and address any supply-related concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master or minimum bachelor degree or equal by experience
• Languages: English (English proficiency is essential, as this position has ties to the USA)
• Experience in Excel (Important: Knowing how to create pivot tables, basic formulas, charts, and filters) and ERP systems (preferably SAP, but if you've worked with an internal ERP system from your previous job, that's fine.) is essential.
