Coto Technology S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexicali seeks a skilled purchasing and supply chain professional to analyze requirements, manage orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure material availability and timely production.

The candidate should have a degree, 2–4 years of related experience, fluency in English and Spanish, ERP experience, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with multiple departments to optimize costs and delivery times.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, planning or supply chain.
• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with domestic and international purchasing.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze purchasing requirements generated by the MRP system and prepare purchase orders.
• Schedule and follow up on material deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, lead times, and potential supply disruptions.
• Keep purchase order information updated in the ERP system.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent production downtime or delays.
• Follow up on delayed materials and changes to production plans.
• Support quotation processes, cost-saving initiatives, negotiations, and supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate with Quality regarding the return of non-conforming materials to suppliers.
• Work closely with Production, Master Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, and Customer Service, among other departments.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze purchasing requirements generated by the MRP system and prepare purchase orders.
• Schedule and follow up on material deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, lead times, and potential supply disruptions.
• Keep purchase order information, including dates, quantities, prices, and status, updated in the ERP system.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent production downtime or delays.
• Follow up on delayed materials and changes to production plans.
• Support quotation processes, cost-saving initiatives, negotiations, and alternative supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate with Quality regarding the return of non-conforming materials to suppliers.
• Work closely with Production, Master Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, and Customer Service, among other departments.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in related areas.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and processes.
• Experience with domestic and international purchasing, follow-up, and logistics.
• Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid U.S. Visa and Mexican Passport.
