Job summary

Flex is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain team in Guadalajara South, Campus. You will maintain materials and purchasing data, coordinate contracts, and support supply data across production.

Reporting to the Materials Director, you will analyze shortages, manage pricing, support NPI transfer, and ensure supplier performance. A background in electronics manufacturing and strong English are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• MPS experience or similar position.
• Strong experience in Materials Planning.
• English advanced (spoken and written).
• Kinaxis FastResponse knowledge.
• CTB and procurement knowledge.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Customer service experience.
• Background in electronics manufacturing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Open work orders per revisions and ECOS; manage data accuracy.
• Generate shortage reports and assist in supply planning.
• Support inventory control, scheduling, and material planning.
• Prepare scorecards and verify supplier pricing.
• Assist in supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
• Provide PPV targeting, tracking and asset velocity.
• Design and control data research tools for planning.
• Review shortages with buyers and summarize for the client.
• Update production plan and capacity projections.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara South , Campus.

Reporting to the Materials Director, this role will be responsible for maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, coordinate contracts, maintain Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers and maintain outsources parts schedules.

What a typical day looks like:

• Opening of WOs according to revisions and ECOS implemented.
• Generate Shortage Report.
• Specialized Job may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties: May hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling.
• Perform general reporting and activities for score carding of suppliers.
• Validate site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process.
• Assist in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
• Provide PPV targeting, tracking and asset velocity.
• Design, manage and control all data research tools
• Review shortage report with buyers and present a summary to the client.
• Demand analysis and upload.
• Analyze and apply Engineering Changes.
• Attend and participate in CFT meetings.
• Generate Excess and Obsolete Report and follow up.
• Update Production Plan – Capacity projection.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

• Stron experience in Materials Planning.
• English advance (spoken and written).
• Knowlodge in Kinaxis Fast Reponse.
• CTB and procurement knowledge.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Customer service experience.
• A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.
