Job summary

Cardinal Health in Juarez, Mexico, seeks a General Production Supervisor for Shift B to coordinate daily production activities, ensure adherence to the production plan, and drive quality, productivity, cost, and safety objectives.

You will lead and train the production team, collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and minimize downtime while promoting a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work Shift B.
• Experience leading and supervising teams.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities for Shift B, allocating personnel and resources according to operational priorities.
• Administer and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring employees follow established guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to the production plan and monitor productivity, quality, efficiency, scrap, and safety metrics.
• Lead, train, and develop the production team, providing feedback and promoting engagement and accountability.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve operational issues, reduce downtime, and maintain production continuity.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, verify production records, and communicate results, issues, and priorities across shifts.
• Promote a safe work environment, ensure compliance with applicable quality procedures, and promptly resolve issues.
