Medtronic in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing activities and ensure production goals, quality, and cost objectives are met.

You will prioritize schedules, manage budgets, develop personnel, and plan manpower for assigned areas, while driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across the team.

Formación

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Requires 1+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the medical industry with knowledge of assembly lines, production metrics (MUV, Absorption), TRESS system and Workday, Microsoft Office, and leadership in large groups.

Responsabilidades

  • Develops and implements activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure efficient operation of the production function.
  • Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
