Job summary

ProTrans International seeks a Carrier Management Representative to oversee partner carriers using the Carrier Scorecard and to facilitate onboarding calls. You will develop training materials, monitor communications, and evaluate carrier performance to drive improvements across the procurement team.

Travel to carrier sites in Mexico may be required to ensure standards and professional representation. The role emphasizes teaching duties, analytical evaluation, and proactive problem solving

• Must be self-motivated and willing to be flexible in work schedule and hours. This job often requires taking calls during off hours or weekends to assist with carrier issues.
• International Travel (US, Canada, Mexico), at times up to 25%.
• Good customer relations skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all management levels.
• Passport and ability to travel to and from Mexico, Canada, and U.S.A. as necessary.
• Reliable transportation, and ability to drive to carrier sites in other cities.
• Ability to analyze problems and opportunities and systematically approach them to make improvements both short term and long term.
• Work with Senior management to solve large systemic issues.
• Good discernment skills in knowing when to elevate issues.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business-related field with two years of relevant experience, OR minimum of five years’ experience in a related field
