Job summary

DiDi is seeking a Strategy BP Intern in Mexico City to support strategic planning and cross-functional decision-making across ride-hailing, delivery, and mobility services.

You will work with the Strategy & Business Planning team to translate leadership strategy into measurable initiatives that drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and user retention. This internship offers analytical rigor and exposure to senior management, with opportunities to influence go-to-market priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Analytical skills to build and interpret operational models in Excel and to manipulate large datasets using SQL or Python.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate market research into actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive dashboards and presentations.
• Cross-functional collaboration across product, ops, finance, and regional teams.
• Track record of delivering measurable outcomes through data-driven initiatives.
• Curiosity, action bias, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive analyses to quantify addressable markets and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial and operational models (unit economics, LTV, CAC, break-even) to forecast strategies.
• Partner with product, operations, and regional teams to design and monitor pilots and evaluate scaling decisions.
• Synthesize large datasets using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools to produce actionable insights.
• Prepare concise briefings and materials for senior management and steering committees.
• Track progress of strategic initiatives via dashboards and periodic reviews.
• Support new market analysis, pricing tests, and partnership evaluations with quantified impact.
