ZF LIFETEC in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks an experienced procurement specialist to ensure material availability and manage supplier performance. You will review demands, forecast production needs, monitor inventory, and prevent shortages or excess stock.

Collaborating with production, warehouse, engineering, purchasing and sales, you will create spot buys when needed, expedite material, and follow up on on‑time delivery and engineering changes.

Formación

• Five years or more of experience working with suppliers and negotiating terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
• High level of independent judgment and strong ethical standards.
• Experience with sourcing processes and decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review demands, forecast, and production requirements.
• Ensure materials are available when needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Monitor raw material shipments to ensure receipt of material.
• Work with suppliers local, domestic, and overseas, and with cross-functional teams.
• Create spot buys when needed and delete when not needed.
• Follow up with suppliers’ performance and resolve supply issues.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and aging and obsolete material.
• Expedite material and follow up on on-time delivery.
