ZF LIFETEC is seeking a BU Procurement Buyer in Reynosa, Mexico to drive on-time sourcing for new and carryover components, coordinate cross-functional sourcing, and ensure program profitability. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in purchasing, with strong SAP and Excel skills and excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant purchasing experience.
• Experience with supplier analysis and negotiations.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams and work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• 80% English language/good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• On Time sourcing within ZF LIFETEC GDPEP Process.
• Coordinate sourcing with SET team members for new components.
• Lead sourcing cases for new and carryover components for new programs.
• Take responsibility for Direct Buy suppliers for spot buys and production POs.
• Send BPO and PPAP requests to SDE and manage PPAP timing.
• Coordinate successful launch activities with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure program profitability through BOM Cost Tracker maintenance.
• Perform capacity checks and analyze existing vs upcoming demand.
• Support Lead Program Buyer and Sr. Purchasing Manager on special projects.
