AMETEK is seeking a Buyer Planner to join the Materials team in Reynosa, Mexico. You will manage work orders and production schedules using MRP recommendations, purchase raw and indirect materials, and support BOMs, routings, and work centers.

Strong problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork are essential to maintain on-time delivery and optimal supplier performance. The role requires bilingual Spanish and English, a proactive mindset, and experience with ERP systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Knowledge of engineering/manufacturing processes incl. inventory control and MRP.
• Ability to negotiate price, quality, delivery terms with suppliers.
• Strong written and oral communication; proactive, deadline-driven.
• Spanish & English bilingual proficiency.
• Experience with QA and AS9100 or similar standards is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule work orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review reports and adjust schedules for labor/material constraints.
• Expedite production based on shortage reports.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Production.
• Communicate material constraints affecting release to shop floor.
• Support inventory cycle count accuracy.
• Assist with lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Develop new supplier relationships and procurement channels.
