Job summary

Flex is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct. The role directs planning, development, and maintenance of supply chain processes for both new and existing products, with heavy emphasis on strategic collaboration with vendors and customers.

The candidate will lead senior teams, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiency while providing reports using multiple tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Interaction with internal and external suppliers (fluent communication).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of materials, supply chain, price negotiation, and NPIs.
• Experience in manufacturing (Engineering).
• Negotiation skills for sourcing/quoting materials.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management.
• Manage and oversee the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products.
• Customer face and strategic responsibilities.
• Ensure reports are created using a variety of tools and methods.
• Direct the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversee planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
• Interact regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
• Drive supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements.
