Job summary

Cisco Systems Mexico City is seeking a Financial Controls & Compliance Manager to partner with finance and business teams, lead SOX readiness, and strengthen governance across CX operations. You will drive control testing, remediation, and RACM documentation while collaborating with Global Procurement and IT teams.

You will translate audit findings into actionable improvements, influence policy updates, and help ensure accurate reporting aligned with corporate standards and risk management goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in internal audit, SOX compliance, or financial controls.
• Experience leading end-to-end process documentation and RACM.
• Experience performing quality reviews, testing controls, and risk assessments in a large corporate environment.
• Experience analyzing data to identify process gaps and audit findings.

Responsibilities

• Manage SOX controls, walkthroughs, and narratives, including remediation and testing.
• Lead cross-functional risk assessments and quarterly compliance certifications.
• Evaluate control frameworks, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement on purchase requisition processes and audits.
• Lead ad-hoc projects detailing process flows and RACM.
• Ensure ATR/ARR data testing and policy alignment with governance.
• Update Services Revenue policies to reflect organizational reporting goals.
